Public Library · 2023–Present AI Literacy Program Series
Curriculum Designer
In partnership with the Program Services Department, I designed and launched an AI literacy course for adult learners at the downtown branch. The curriculum focused on practical use, ethical considerations, and critical evaluation of emerging AI tools.
Following the pilot's success, I trained staff at six additional branches to deliver the course system-wide. Sessions consistently generated waitlists, and participant feedback indicated increased confidence and fluency in using AI tools responsibly.
The program was later adapted into a presentation for Clark College, extending its reach beyond the library system and strengthening institutional partnerships.
Impacts
- District-wide implementation across multiple branches
- Strong community demand with consistent waitlists
- Cross-institutional adaptation for higher education
Public Library · 2023 — 2024 Community Arts Programming & Gallery Curation
Art Committee Lead
As lead of the downtown branch Art Committee, I oversaw gallery curation and community arts programming. I integrated the district's equity framework into artist selection by developing a feedback-informed system that prioritized transparency, representation, and community voice.
Under my leadership, the gallery footprint expanded to include a dedicated children's art floor, creating new opportunities for youth artists and family engagement.
I also strengthened recruitment processes for the 2024 programming season and expanded the annual Art4Art fundraiser through partnerships with local organizations.
Impacts
- Expanded gallery space and visibility for youth artists
- Strengthened artist recruitment pipeline through transparent, equity-informed processes
- Expanded the annual Art4Art fundraiser through community partnerships
